The Sunshine Festival held in St. Simons Island’s Pier Village has been an island tradition for 60+ years. This is the perfect family-friendly event this season with St. Simons Island fireworks, a 5K and 1-mile fun run, and more.
Fathers Day Crafts at The Cottage
Join The Cottage Coffee + Custard Shop on Saturday, June 17th for another year of Crafts for Dad! From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., children of all ages are welcome to come paint a custom mug for dad & craft a Fathers Day card to match! This heartfelt mug creation is sure to be treasured forever, and it's the perfect way to make dad feel loved on his special day. Come early and enjoy a frozen custard cone on the lawn, a playdate on the Castle Playground or game of corn hole!
All About Turtles
We will meet at East Beach at the beach entrance by the boardwalk. We will walk to look for a turtle nest and learn about the sea turtles’ life. No craft this time, but kids will leave with a goody bag to enjoy at home and play with!
